How it works

Driving tests can be cancelled at any time, so if you can't find a suitable one, we can offer these to you! We monitor them and as soon as one is available we notify you if it matches your preferences.

  • Step 1

    Book a practical driving test with the DVSA. If you can only reserve one far into the future, book one and we’ll replace it with a sooner test date for you. In order to change your test date, you must book an online adjustable test.

  • Step 2

    Share with us all your preferences - make them as specific as you need so we can find your perfect cancellation. Please provide your provisional driving license number, preferred dates of test and test centre. Once completed, you’ll get a confirmation email.

  • Step 3

    We start searching for earlier cancellations as soon as the registration is confirmed. We search the DVSA database every three minutes, so our cancellations finder regularly locates earlier dates. We won't stop searching until we find a cancellation that meets your needs. Customers are refunded in full, if we can’t find a suitable date within 14 days.

  • Step 4

    Once we’ve found a cancellation, you'll get a notification via SMS and email. We'll hold this slot for 15 minutes.

  • Step 5

    If you text back "book", we’ll get this cancellation booked in for you. Ignore the text if you don't like that certain cancellation time. More will be sent as soon as new times come out. If you enable auto booking, we'll automatically book any earlier driving tests that match your date and time preferences.

  • Step 6

    Once booked, we'll send an email confirmation and you will also receive a confirmation email from DVSA as to the changes. We disable the auto feature after each booking so we don't book anything unwanted. If you fail the test, we will be happy to find a new cancellation test, at no extra cost.
